1. Before filing a complaint, you are required to first report the complaint to the Scheme Trustees, who are the legal owners of the scheme.
2. All relevant documents related to the complaint shall be required when submitting a complaint.
3. Upon lodging your complaint, you will be provided with a unique complaint number that can be used to track its progress.
4. The complaints will be analyzed normally within fourteen (14) days of receipt of all the relevant information and supporting documents.
5. The complaint is handled in the strictest confidence.
6. As soon as the review is completed, URBRA will write to the complainant outlining the findings as well as any redress available.
7. In case a complaint raises regulatory or prudential concerns, URBRA may take action against a regulated entity (or person). However, URBRA is limited by law in what can be shared with a complainant if relates to the regulatory action(s) or investigation(s) relating to a particular entity.
