GUIDING NOTES:

  • 1. Before filing a complaint, you are required to first report the complaint to the Scheme Trustees, who are the legal owners of the scheme.

  • 2. All relevant documents related to the complaint shall be required when submitting a complaint.

  • 3. Upon lodging your complaint, you will be provided with a unique complaint number that can be used to track its progress.

  • 4. The complaints will be analyzed normally within fourteen (14) days of receipt of all the relevant information and supporting documents.

  • 5. The complaint is handled in the strictest confidence.

  • 6. As soon as the review is completed, URBRA will write to the complainant outlining the findings as well as any redress available.

  • 7. In case a complaint raises regulatory or prudential concerns, URBRA may take action against a regulated entity (or person). However, URBRA is limited by law in what can be shared with a complainant if relates to the regulatory action(s) or investigation(s) relating to a particular entity.
